Scary. Is your food safe?

Aside from all the "organic, green, heart healthy," yada, yada crap. This is why you should cook your own food and not buy the expensive processed stuff......

From the NY Times:

"In addition to ConAgra, other food giants like Nestlé and the Blackstone Group, a New York firm that acquired the Swanson and Hungry-Man brands two years ago, concede that they cannot ensure the safety of items — from frozen vegetables to pizzas — and that they are shifting the burden to the consumer."

Apparently it's the consumer's fault that companies can't guarantee uncontaminated food. Who knew?

"and buy the expensive processed stuff"
WTF? Dude, if you want safe food do not buy processed food. Period. Organic processed food goes through the same plants with the same people working the line as the day before when the regular ol stuff came down the line.
In the US we have safest food in the world. but event then there will be problems. That facility in GA that processed all that P-Nut butter, yeah they process 3 types of organic p-nuts. shit happens.
If you want to be safe, wash your fruits and veggies, cook your meat to 160 degrees, buy whole foods, and get rid of your microwave.

Food is not scary. Sorority girls on cell phones, driving SUV's are scary.
Rant off.

Easy Stamper. First off, in your brilliant glory of a rant you apparently forgot some things. First, you assume I buy "expensive processed stuff." Second, this is not a text message and your spell checker is obviously broken. It's spelled, "p-e-a-n-u-t." And finally, if you want to rant, get your own blog.
